The cyborg Replika awakes in The Citadel, a military space station of the Volgan Empire. Freeing herself from the clone chamber where she has been created, she searches the space station for answers to her origin and purpose. In the process she learns that she’s linked to Volgan technology, having a strong power over it (bio-enhancements, etc.) and also of the tyrannical nature of Volgan and its enslaved population. As her human side and past life memories enter in conflict with her programming – to be the ultimate weapon of the empire – she looks for a way out. |
